During the World Superbike round at Assen, also took place the second race for Dutch Superbike. In the first qualification Allard Kerkhoven felt immediately comfortable and pulled out a third position. In the second qualification he was going even faster but went backwards two places and ended up fifth. Sunday afternoon he started again very well, but lost some places during the first lap. Half way the race he started to close the gap with the riders at the front. He wasin third position for a few laps. Unfortunately in the last lap another rider passed him and Allard finished fourth.
