Little Big men

After the qualifying races that have seen drivers of different classes riding motorcycles from 65 cc and 85 the race engaged in two distinct areas of the country.

65cc "cadetti" class

In 65 cc “cadetti” class, Filippo Zonta and Gianluca Facchetti gained respectively the first and third position in the qualifying races. In race 1 Filippo Zonta was the absolute ruler, he lead the race for seven laps and crossed the finish line first. Gianluca Facchetti managed to gain third place. In race 2 Facchetti was closely followed by teammate Zonta. The supremacy of the two riders was not questioned and they crossed the finish line in first and second position. For total points scored, Zonta won the race with full points and Facchetti was standing second on the podium.

85 cc “junior” class

Lorenzo Ravera and Luca Poggi participated in 85 cc “junior” class. In the qualifying races the gained respectively position four and eight. The two boys, for the first year riding the bike 85 cc, continue improving race after race with great satisfaction. In the two heats on Sunday Luca Poggi has collected the best overall result, finishing seventh in the rankings of the day, thanks to eleventh place in the first heat and seventh in the second. Lorenzo Ravera ended in nineteenth position after a very good comeback from the last starting spot, while in the second half of the race had to surrender to a fall, fortunately without physical consequences, which forced him to early withdrawal.

The next event is scheduled in Cingoli (MC) next July 11 where he will play the second of three scheduled finals.
