FIRST AND SECOND FOR TEAM PUTOLINE SUZUKI AT BERWYN

Round four of the GBXC series held at Berwyn Leisure Park near Oswestry, proved to be a textbook example of off-road racing for the Putoline Suzuki by www.fasteddyracing.com team, as riders Tom Sagar and Lee Edmondson finished the event in first and second positions.

With slippery conditions at the start of the day, Sagar and Edmondson began in convincing form, ending the opening lap in first and second. With a great combination of hilly, fast and technical sections, Sagar opened up an advantage of three and a half minutes on his RMX450Z over teammate Edmondson on his 250cc Suzuki by the end of the event.

Tom Sagar commented, "A great event and a great result for us. To be honest it all ran like clockwork and the RMX was superb. I just need to turn this positive result into another this weekend coming, as we head to round five of the British Championship at Dyfi"

Lee Edmondson added, "I'm pleased to finish on the podium and as the best 250. I didn't have an easy start to the year after my injury, but it's all moving in the right direction now and I'm really enjoying my racing."

Team manager, Paul Edmondson, was feeling much more upbeat about his team's performance, adding, "Well done to both the lads. They rode well in the morning and afternoon to give us a great result, and one that gives us confidence after a difficult British Championship round a few weeks ago. In truth, we needed this result to help our motivation, so I'm hopeful for a return to the top this weekend coming."
