Ceriel Klein Kromhof from the Yamaha van Beers Racing Team helped the Dutch team to second overall at the Coupe de L’avenir in Angreau, Belgium. He was flanked by Glenn Coldenhoff and Donny Bastemeijer. Ceriel represented the team in the MX1 class. Due to some arm pump he posted the 13th time in qualifying on Saturday.
Ceriel started badly in his first race. He improved to sixth position soon. He could not close the gap on a group ahead of him and maintained the position. The second start was better and Ceriel started in fourth place. He later improved to third and finished in this position, a few seconds behind the second placed man.
Ceriel's teammates also scored well, and the team finished in second position overall, with Ceriel third in the individual classification. Ceriel’s next race is the final round of the Dutch Open Championship Series at Harfsen this Sunday.
