Evgeny Bobryshev scores best result of the season in Turkey

Evgeny Bobryshev from the Yamaha van Beers Racing Team got his best result this season at the third round of the World Championship Series in Istanbul, Turkey last Sunday. Bobryshev finished 15th and 10th in the motos and with these results he finished in 11th position overall. Carlos Campano had the flew in Turkey but still scored 3 World Championship points in the first moto. Rob van Vijfeijken did not score any points, but gained a lot of experience. 



Evgeny Bobryshev:
In the first moto Evgeny didn't had a good start and started the race in 25th place. Soon he worked himself up to 18th place but on the fast track in Turkey it was difficult to overtake. Bobryshev rode in 18th place for a long time but in closing stages of the race he was still able to gain some places and finished in 15th place.

In the second moto Evgeny had a better start and started the race in the top 10. After a while Evgeny got in a battle for 10th place and held on to this place for a while. Due to a small mistake he dropped back to 13th place. Evgeny didn't give up and did his best and in the closing stages of the race he was still able to work himself up to 10th place, his best result of this season.

Evgeny finished in 11th place overall in Turkey. After three rounds he sits in 21st position in the World Championship Standings.

Carlos Campano and Rob van Vijfeijken:
In the first moto of the MX1 class Carlos Campano went into the first corner just outside the top 15. Rob van Vijfeijken didn't had a good start and started at the back of the field. Carlos had a lot of nice battles with the other riders and scored 3 World Championship points with an 18th place in the first moto. Rob retired from the race to safe his energy for the second moto because he knew he wouldn’t score any points in the first race.

In the second moto Carlos Campano had a good start and came out of the first corner inside the top 20. In the beginning Carlos tried his hardest to earn points but after a while he made a mistake and fell back to 27th place. Carlos came close to score points but finally got stuck at 21st place. Rob van Vijfeijken rode better in the second moto and started the race in 29th place. Rob was able to get to 23rd place but was unable to get any further.

Carlos finished in 23rd position overall in Turkey. After three rounds he sits in 27th position in the Championship Standings. Rob van Vijfeijken is in 28th position after the Grand Prix of Turkey. The World Championship Series will continue on the 26th of April on the Eurocircuit in Valkenswaard.
