Looking forward to Qatar with Petar Petrov
‘I’m really feeling good in the team. Everybody is getting along great and working with Marnicq Bervoets is really fun.I can learn a lot from him. The whole team is working very hard to get me as comfortable as possible. Having been 4 months off the bike, it was a bit difficult to get the feeling back, but I worked hard and feel it’s going in the right direction. This winter I went to Bulgaria to train and spend some time with my family. I had a great time and it was good to be over there and see everyone. It was an extra motivation to work even harder.’

On the first GP:
‘I’m really looking forward to this weekend in Qatar. In Valence my riding and fitness were quite good. The results could have been a bit better as I got passed at the end in each race, but in the end I was happy with how I rode. I still feel I’m getting faster every time I go out on the bike, so really looking forward to the real work. I’m all excited to take of to Qatar. It’s a new venue and with a race under the lights it will be very special.’

The goal for 2013:
‘I have no idea where I will be results wise at the first GP. I hope to kick off the season in the top 10 and build up from there on. ’

‘I want to thank all my sponsors, my family, my girlfriend and my manager for all the support. Also a big shout to the team !’
