Evgeny Bobryshev from the Yamaha van Beers Racing Team finished eight overall at the fourth round of the Belgium Championship Series in Mol last Saturday. Bobryshev finished 12th, 7th and 9th in the motos and these results were good enough for eight overall.

Evgeny decided to ride aboard a Yamaha 450F on the heavy sand track in Mol. The organizers arranged a very strong field of riders with a lot of MX1 Grand Prix stars. In the first moto he took a decent start and at the end of the first lap he came by start/finish in 14th position. In the beginning of the race he worked himself up to twelfth position but because the pace was really high it was difficult to make up more positions. Evgeny tried everything he could but had to be satisfied with twelfth position in the first moto.

In the second moto his start was better and this time he went into the first corner just around the top ten. He found his rhythm straight away and moved into ninth position in the fourth lap. Evgeny rode a consistent race and managed to keep his pace high. In the second part of the race he could make the difference and passed two riders and finally finished in seventh position.

In the third moto Evgeny started the race in tenth position. In the beginning he held on to this position but after some laps he dropped back to eleventh position. Evgeny stayed calm and picked up the pace in the middle of the race. Just after the middle of the race he moved into tenth position and with still two laps to go he passed the ninth place rider. Bobryshev made no mistakes in the last lap and crossed the finish line in ninth position.

The Yamaha van Beers rider finished eight overall at the Keiheuvel in Mol.
